1. Who we are

These Terms & Conditions are a legal agreement between you and Inulewa Akinjayeju (trading as Nics Online Tutoring). By using this website, creating an account, booking a session or making a payment, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Nics Online Tutoring, you confirm that you accept these terms and that you have the authority to agree to them. If you do not agree, you must not use the service. Parents and guardians may create accounts and book sessions on behalf of children under their care.

3. The service

Nics Online Tutoring provides one-to-one online tutoring in English, Mathematics, Science and German. Sessions are delivered online, normally last one hour, and are arranged through the booking system on this site. We match learners with suitable tutors based on the information provided at booking.

4. Booking and payment

When you book a session, you submit a tutoring request and complete payment through our payment provider, Stripe. Prices are shown per subject and per session before you confirm. All fees are quoted in US dollars (USD) and include applicable taxes where required.

Payment, billing, subscription management and refund mechanics are handled securely by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are never stored on our servers.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service. Prohibited conduct includes:

• using the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, national or international law;
• fraud, spam, phishing or any deceptive activity;
• infringing the intellectual property or other rights of any person;
• interfering with the security of the site, including introducing malware, viruses, scraping, probing or attempting to gain unauthorised access;
• harassing tutors, staff or other users;
• sharing lesson links, account credentials or session recordings with third parties without permission.

6. Intellectual property

All content, branding, software, lesson materials and documentation on this site are owned by Inulewa Akinjayeju or licensed to us. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your personal, non-commercial use while you have an active account.

7. Service level

We aim to deliver reliable, high-quality tutoring, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times. Sessions may occasionally be rescheduled due to tutor availability, technical issues or other reasonable circumstances.

8. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel a booking and request a refund in line with our Refund Policy. Refund requests are processed by Stripe, our payment provider.

9. Account security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay for services, pose a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use policy. Where reasonable, we will try to contact you before taking action.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the affected sessions in the six months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated date. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the revised terms.
